ZANZIBAR, Nov. 19 -- PRESIDENT Hussein Ali Mwinyi has visited and inspected the progress of the construction of the strategic Zanzibar Sports City project being implemented in the Fumba area, in the Urban West Region, as part of preparations for the AFCON 2027.

During the visit, President Mwinyi assured the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts, and Sports, along with ORKUN GROUP, that the government is all set to ensure that the construction is carried out swiftly, efficiently, and with international standards.

Moreover, Dr Mwinyi urged the Ministry and the contractor not to delay in presenting any challenges so as to allow the government to provide quick solutions.
