ARUSHA, Sept. 1 -- The Deputy Chairman of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Mainland Tanzania, Stephen Wasira, has noted that the party is currently focused on winning the ongoing General Elections, as the internal opinion poll process has already been completed.

He made the statement, while speaking to party leaders during an internal meeting in Arusha on Sunday, where he emphasised the importance of unity, saying there is no reason for divisions anymore.

During the meeting, Mr Wasira explained the entire opinion poll process to the members and how candidates for parliamentary and council positions were selected.
