Dar es Salaam, Feb. 20 -- ZANZIBAR: ZANZIBAR Minister for Tourism and Heritage, Mr Mudrik Ramadhani Soraga said on Tuesday that the construction of new infrastructure in various parts of the country has greatly improved accessibility for visitors to various sites in the Isles.
He noted that many areas previously struggled with poor transport infrastructure such roads, created significant challenges and inconveniences for tourists.
The minister was responding to a question from Representative Ameir Abdalla Ameir (Mwanakwerekwe Constituency), who wanted to know the impact of the new road infrastructure on tourism and the growth of the service sector.
