SUMBAWANGA, Oct. 27 -- THE chairperson of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Judge Jacobs Mwambegele, has inspected the 83 polling stations out of 90 stations that have been specifically allocated for residents of the former wards of Ilangu, Ipwaga, Bulamata, and Mishamo, all located in the Tanganyika District Council in Katavi Region.
The visited wards were abolished by the Minister responsible for Local Government in accordance with the Local Government (District Authorities) Act, Chapter 287.
In his inspection, the Judge was accompanied by the Katavi Regional Election Coordinator, the Tanganyika Constituency Election Supervisor, and other election officials, to assess the preparations ahead of the General Elections...
