Dar es Salaam, April 14 -- DODOMA: THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has called on Tanzanians across the country to utilize simple technological methods to verify their information in the Permanent Voters Register as part of preparations for the upcoming general election.

Speaking to reporters today, April 14, 2025, in Dodoma, the Commissions Chairperson, Jacobs Mwambegele, said voters can now verify their details using their mobile phones or by visiting the Commissions official website.

He explained that this service is aimed at ensuring that every eligible Tanzanian voter has the opportunity to confirm their information on time, thereby avoiding potential issues during the election period.
