Dar es Salaam, March 26 -- ARUSHA: THE Indian government is offering scholarships for 1,000 young people from Arusha to study in India, covering over 220 academic programmes.
Due to good cooperation ties between Tanzania and India, hundreds of young people have turned up in large numbers at the regional offices to participate in the screening process for scholarships to study in India.
The youth of Arusha region have positively responded after the announcement was made by Arushas Regional Commissioner, Paul Makonda, at a conference held to commemorate President Samia Suluhu Hassans four years in office.
