Dar es Salaam, March 24 -- DAR ES SALAAM: HEAVENLY Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) Tanzania branch has called on countries worldwide to support the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) to ensure its adoption by heads of state, ultimately helping to save lives affected by war.

The resolution, drafted by 21 lawyers from 15 nations, has already been signed by 34 countries.

However, Tanzania has yet to sign as HWPL officials said they are in discussions to engage President Samia Suluhu Hassan on the importance of signing the resolution.

Before that, they aim to educate the Tanzanian community on its significance.
