DODOMA, July 24 -- DEPUTY Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Dr Doto Biteko, today, July 24, 2025, inspected final preparations for the National Heroes Day commemorations slated for tomorrow at the Heroes Stadium in Mtumba, Dodoma.

The day, observed annually on July 25th, pays tribute to men and women who selflessly dedicated their lives, energy, and service to safeguard Tanzanias peace, freedom, and development.

This years event will feature special ceremonies, including a grand military parade by members of the Defence and Security Forces.

President Samia Suluhu Hassan, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence and Security Forces, is expected to officiate the celebrations as the Guest of Honour.
