DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 14 -- TANZANIA football needs to wake up from slumber and jump into a bandwagon heading for the high-level football as steered by the FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Infantino said it clearly that African football, Tanzania included, needs to be among the world's powerful when he announced his ambitious plan to bring African football to the higher level of professionalism.

Speaking at a historic seminar focused on the development of competitions and infrastructure in African football, Infantino has outlined his wish to "project African football to the top of the world".
