TABORA, Dec. 23 -- DEPUTY Permanent Secretary in the Prime Ministers Office (PO-RALG) responsible for Health, Prof Tumaini Nagu, has said the health profession is a special calling that directly affects the lives of citizens, urging health workers to safeguard it by strictly observing ethics, professionalism and established codes of conduct.

Prof Nagu made the remarks during a visit to Urambo District Council Hospital in Tabora Region as part of his participatory supervisory tour to assess the delivery of health, social welfare and nutrition services in the region.
