DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 28 -- GSM Group has reached a historic milestone after receiving 100 fuel transport trucks from Sino Truck Tanzania, a move expected to boost efficiency in the countrys transport chain and the wider East African region.

Speaking at the reception ceremony in Dar es Salaam today, GSM Group Chief Executive Officer Benson Mahenya said the arrival of the trucks is part of the companys broader strategy to expand fuel transportation within and beyond Tanzanias borders.

“Today is a historic day for us. We have received 100 fuel trucks as the first batch, and within the next 20 days we will receive another 100 to complete our plan of acquiring 200 trucks before the end of this year,” Mahenya said.
