Tanzania, May 8 -- THE government is expected to announce the official funeral arrangements for former Vice-President and retired Prime Minister Cleopa Msuya today after consultations between state authorities and the late statesman's family.

Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa made the announcement yesterday during a condolence visit to Msuya's residence at Upanga in Dar es Salaam Region.

The PM said that the burial preparations are underway and are being coordinated by the government, in collaboration with the family and the official national funeral committee.
