DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 10 -- DEPUTY Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Hamis Mwinjuma, has reaffirmed the governments commitment to deepening cooperation with arts stakeholders in a bid to improve the working environment and safeguard the welfare of artists across the country.
Mwinjuma made the remarks during a consultative meeting with various arts sector stakeholders held at the ministrys offices at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam. He said such engagements form part of the ministrys ongoing coordination efforts aimed at listening to the challenges facing artists and developing practical, sustainable solutions.
