Dar es Salaam, March 18 -- ARUSHA: THE government has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting innovation stakeholders, including youths in information technology and startups, by creating a conducive environment through the Tanzania Digital Project to foster growth and international competitiveness.

The assurance was given over the weekend by the Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Mr Jerry Silaa, during a meeting with innovation stakeholders and startups.

Mr Silaa stated that the government aims to empower youths from innovation hubs and startups to achieve their dreams and contribute to society through their creativity.
