Dar es Salaam, March 12 -- SHINYANGA: THE government has allocated approximately 1,000 new job positions for the Fire and Rescue Force, to be included in the upcoming 2025/2026 financial year budget.
This announcement was made on Monday by the Permanent Secretary for the Presidents Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance, Juma Mkomi during a mini council meeting for Fire and Rescue Force staff in Morogoro.
Mr Mkomi said that the Presidents Office is continuing its efforts to improve the Fire and Rescue Force, particularly in terms of recruitment, recognising the units sensitivity and importance.
