DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 15 -- THE government has emphasised the importance of collective action to effectively navigate the complex global development landscape and accelerate sustainable progress.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Multilateral Affairs Director, Ambassador Noel Kaganda, urged a rethink of financing priorities, noting that while global security spending exceeds 2.7 trillion US dollars annually, a fraction could end hunger and provide basic healthcare for all.

“This is a strategic moment for us to align our efforts with Vision 2050,” he noted.
