DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 6 -- AS the countdown to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2027 gathers pace, Tanzania is sending a clear message that preparation is no longer limited to stadiums and football pitches; it is expanding into diplomacy, culture, infrastructure and national ambition.
Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Paul Makonda, has revealed that Tanzania has already signed 22 Memorandums of Understandings (MoUs) with various countries, aimed at strengthening cooperation in sports development.
