DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 23 -- THE Ilala District Commissioner, Edward Mpogolo, has affirmed the governments commitment to work closely with the Fair Competition Commission (FCC) in ensuring all industrial products meet quality standards, satisfy consumers, and contribute to national development.

Mr Mpogolo made the remarks today, February 23, 2026, while opening a seminar for media editors organized by the FCC in Dar es Salaam. He noted that some producers still manufacture substandard products and stated that all local councils would continue collaborating with the commission to monitor and eliminate such practices.
