DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 28 -- SIMBA SC Head Coach Fadlu Davids believes his side is just one key signing away from being fully equipped to challenge on all fronts in the 2025/26 season.

Speaking after Simbas 2-0 victory over Egyptian side Wadi Degla in a friendly match, the South African tactician praised the teams progress in preseason, but emphasised the need for a final addition, a creative game-changer in the attacking third.

“Were still looking for that one more ‘X factor player, a creative player to give us that spark in the final third,” said Davids.

“We came up short last season in crucial games, especially in the final match against Yanga (Young Africans). We need that difference-maker.”
