Tanzania, May 10 -- AGRICULTURAL extension officers in five regions and twelve local government authorities are set to receive a monthly fuel allocation of 10 to 15 litres in the 2025/26 financial year, Legislators were told yesterday.
The move aims to enhance their mobility and effectiveness in supporting farmers across the country.
The announcement was made yesterday by the Deputy Minister of State in the President's Office (Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG), Dr Festo Dugange, in the National Assembly in response to a basic question by Ngara MP, Ndaisaba Ruhoro (CCM).
