Dar es Salaam, March 28 -- DODOMA: INTENSIVE grilling of nine public leaders kicked off yesterday at the headquarters of the Public Leaders Ethics Secretariat, in an impressive stage to bring discipline in the countrys leadership.

The accused leaders started appearing before the special Ethics Tribunal yesterday over allegations of breaching public leadership ethics, including failure to submit a declaration of assets and liabilities to the Ethics Commissioner.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday by Ethics Commissioner Judge (Retired) Sivangilwa Mwangesi, the leaders were summoned before the tribunal for questioning into the allegations levelled against them.
