DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 25 -- THE Minister for Energy, Deogratius Ndejembi, has directed the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) to increase compressed natural gas (CNG) filling stations in the Dar es Salaam region and extend the service to the regions of Dodoma, Arusha, Morogoro, and Tanga.
According to the minister, the move aims at reducing living costs and improving service delivery for citizens.
Speaking in a meeting with TPDC management in Dar es Salaam, he said that though the corporation has established stations in the business city but demand in other regions has grown significantly.
