MWANZA, Oct. 27 -- A TOTAL of 2,870 election supervisors and assistant supervisors in Ilemela Municipal Council have begun a two-day training on managing the upcoming General Election, being reminded that their role is a constitutional duty requiring professionalism, impartiality and a deep understanding of the law.

Opening the training, Ilemela Election Supervisor Mr Herbert Bilia said the supervisors will manage 944 polling stations across 19 wards.
