DODOMA, Feb. 13 -- TANZANIAN Vice President, Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, has urged the management of the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) to remain committed, innovative and proactive in strengthening capital markets and attracting more local and foreign investment.

Dr Nchimbi made the remarks during a meeting held today, February 13, 2026, in Dodoma, where he held discussions with the DSE Chief Executive Officer, Mr Peter Nalitolela.

During the talks, the Vice President emphasised the importance of the stock market as a strategic national institution, noting that DSE plays a key role in mobilising long-term capital needed to support Tanzanias development agenda.
