DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 16 -- THE Tanzanian Vice President, Dr  Emmanuel Nchimbi, said that the government is fully committed to completing all development projects across the country, emphasizing that airports serve as the main gateway for visitors and represent the nations first impression, and therefore, their infrastructure must meet international standards.

Dr  Nchimbi made the remarks today, January 16, 2026, during the inauguration of the VIP Terminal at the Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Dar es Salaam.
