ZANZIBAR, Sept. 9 -- THE President of Zanzibar, Dr. Hussein Mwinyi, has emphasized the need for enhanced cooperation and the implementation of economic diplomacy between Zanzibar and Japan.
President Mwinyi made these remarks today when he met with Tanzanias Ambassador to Japan, Anderson Mutatembwa, at the State House in Unguja. Ambassador Mutatembwa paid a courtesy visit to bid farewell before officially assuming his diplomatic duties in Japan.
Dr. Mwinyi congratulated Ambassador Mutatembwa on his appointment and wished him success, urging him to focus on priority areas that would strengthen bilateral cooperation and attract investment.
