DODOMA, Nov. 20 -- THE Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr Ashatu Kijaji, has officially taken over office from her predecessor, Ambassador Dr Pindi Chana, as she begins leading the Ministry, which plays a significant role in the countrys economy.

The handover ceremony took place today, November 20, 2025, at the Government City in Mtumba, Dodoma. Speaking after receiving the office, Dr Kijaji commended Ambassador Chana for the remarkable work she accomplished during her tenure as Minister.
