DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 30 -- THE Minister for Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups, Dorothy Gwajima, has commended the National Arts Council of Tanzania (BASATA) for directing masters of ceremonies (MCs), entertainment and event hosts, and disc jockeys (DJs) to register in order to obtain permits to conduct their activities.

Gwajima made the remarks following BASATAs directive, saying that compliance with the order would help improve the quality of services provided and contribute to community development.
