KIGOMA, Jan. 15 -- THE government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has delivered humanitarian assistance to refugees at the National Mills Centre (NMC) refugee reception facility in Kigoma.

The items were delivered by the Minister of State in charge of Social Welfare, Humanitarian Affairs and Solidarity from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Eve Masudi, who led the delegation from DRC

The minister handed over to UNHCR leadership 2,000 bags of rice, 2,000 bags of maize flour, bags of beans, as well as boxes of sanitary towels for women.

The supplies will be included in food distributions for refugees at Nyarugusu Refugee Camp.
