Dar es Salaam, April 24 -- DODOMA: THE government is keen to see teachers continue setting a good example in their communities by fulfilling their core responsibilities, alongside other duties, particularly in promoting peace and stability.

Dodoma Regional Commissioner, Rosemary Senyamule, made the remarks during the election of new leaders for the Dodoma Region branch of the Tanzania Teachers Union (TTU), held at the Dodoma Secondary School Hall on Tuesday.

The newly elected TTU leaders will serve a five-year term from 2025 to 2030.
