DODOMA, Dec. 28 -- EIGHT local government authorities in Dodoma Region have allocated a total of 6.37bn/- in the 2025/26 financial year to empower women, youth and persons with disabilities (PWDs) through the mandatory 10 per cent loans scheme funded from internally generated revenue.

Presenting a budget implementation report in the capital city, Dodoma Regional Planning Officer Mr Charles Mduma said that between July and November 2025, the councils were required to disburse loans amounting to more than 1.995bn/- but had issued 1.683bn/-, equivalent to 84 per cent implementation.
