Dar es Salaam, Feb. 11 -- LINDI: SEVEN Dodoma Jiji FC players injured in a bus accident between Somanga and Nangurukuru in Lindi region on the way to Dar es Salaam have been discharged from Nangurukuru Health Centre.

The team was travelling from Ruangwa after a 2-2 draw against Namungo FC when their bus overturned twice and plunged into the Matandu River near Nangurukuru at approximately 10 a.m.

Fortunately, the injuries sustained were minor and the teams medical staff provided immediate first aid. Speaking via phone, Dodoma Jijis Head Coach, Mecky Maxime, confirmed that all seven injured players had been treated and discharged from the Nangurukuru Health Centre.
