ZANZIBAR, Jan. 28 -- ZANZIBAR President Dr Hussein Mwinyi has stressed that his government will continue to prioritise digital systems as a key driver of economic management, improved public service delivery and strengthened domestic revenue collection.

Dr Mwinyi made the remarks on Monday during a meeting with the Union Minister for Communication and Information Technology Ms Angellah Kairuki, and senior officials from the ministry, held at State House in Zanzibar.

“The use of digital technologies remains a key pillar in Zanzibars development agenda,” the President said, noting that modern systems have significantly enhanced efficiency, transparency and accountability in government operations.
