Dar es Salaam, Feb. 26 -- TABORA: IN celebrating Braille Week in Tabora Region over the weekend, the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) has advocated for digital accessibility and inclusivity for visually impaired individuals.
The event culminated in a grand ceremony at CCM Grounds in Tabora, where Deputy Minister in the Prime Ministers Office for Labor, Employment and Persons with Disabilities, Mr Patrobas Katambi, emphasised the need to prioritise visually impaired individuals in government offices. During the event, sponsoring institutions shared key messages.
TCRA officials, including Engineer Nicola Mgala and Jasmine Kiyungi, raised awareness on digital communication, cybersecurity and mobile fraud prevention.
