DODOMA, Nov. 11 -- DODOMAs economy is booming as state-backed infrastructure projects reshape the capital, turning it into a lucrative investment destination, Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule said.

Growth has been driven primarily by the governments relocation to Dodoma and a series of flagship projects, including the Msalato International Airport and the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).

The developments have sparked a construction boom and heightened demand for housing, roads and water services.
