DODOMA, Nov. 24 -- Energy Deputy Minister, Ms Salome Makamba, met with members of the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) management in Dodoma on Monday to discuss various operational issues and improvements within the countrys energy sector.

Ms Makamba made her maiden visit to the regulators headquarters in the capital city since her recent appointment, urging EWURAs management to enhance speed, innovation, and efficiency.

She commended EWURA for its commendable work in regulating energy services, but called on the Authority to push further in boosting performance and embracing new approaches.
