DODOMA, Feb. 17 -- THE Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Hamad Hassan Chande, has urged the Department of Antiquities to increase innovation in promoting heritage attractions and historical museums to attract more domestic and international tourists.
He made the statement during a working session with officials in the department of antiquities held in Dodoma, noting that the sector must rise in visibility and contribute more directly to the economic growth of the country, particularly by developing new heritage tourism destinations and revitalizing historic museums.
