MALAWI, Dec. 23 -- THE Benjamin Mkapa Hospital (BMH) is organising an outreach camp for specialised medical services in Malawi.

Prio to the camp, which is scheduled for early next year, a team of medical specialists from the BMH visited hospitals in Malawis Southern, Central and Northern regions with a view to determine the need for specialised medical services in the neighbouring country.

Tanzanias Embassy in Malawi coordinated a visit by a team of medical specialists from Dodoma based zonal hospital in a bid to boost the countrys medical tourism drive.

The team, led by BMHs Chief Executive Officer Prof Abel Makubi, also sought to establish cooperation in various areas, including joint research initiatives.
