DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 13 -- HUNDREDS of accounting students and young professionals gathered in Dar es Salaam this week for the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) Annual Accountancy Career Day in a platform designed to bridge the gap between academic training and the demands of the professional market.
The event brought together CPA candidates, university students, employers, and senior accounting professionals from both public and private sectors.
The organisers said the goal was to give participants practical exposure, mentorship opportunities, and insight into the expectations of employers in Tanzanias rapidly evolving business landscape.
