DAR ES SALAAM, July 8 -- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, Dr. Constantinos Kombos, is expected to begin an official visit to Tanzania today, July 8, which will run until Thursday.
He is visiting on behalf of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, who is also the Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas.
The main objective of the visit is to strengthen bilateral relations between Tanzania and the European Union, support preparations for Tanzanias 2025 general elections, and promote economic cooperation under the EUs Global Gateway initiative, which aims to boost infrastructure development and global trade.
