DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 31 -- PRESIDENTIAL candidate for the Civic United Front (CUF), Gombo Samandito Gombo, has pledged to offer government employees  an employment letter accompanied by a plot title deed and transport (a car) if Tanzanians grant him the mandate to become the president.

Gombo made this promise during an exclusive interview with Daily News Digital, where he outlined his priorities ahead of the general election scheduled for October 29 this year.

He said the reason behind this plan stems from observing the modest lifestyles of many civil servants, which he believes contributes to corruption among some of them.
