DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 11 -- THE Kisutu Resident Magistrates' Court in Dar es Salaam yesterday raised concern over the prosecution's failure to start prosecuting five foreigners and a Tanzanian, who are allegedly linked with the kidnapping of Tanzanian billionaire and industrialist Mohamed Dewji, alias MO.

Principal Resident Magistrate Huruma Shaidi raised such concern before adjourning the trial until December 23, 2019 in response to submissions presented by the prosecution and defence.

State Attorney Gloria Mwenda had requested for more time to complete investigation. Defence counsel Maufudhu Mbagwa informed the court that his client, Mousa Hamis Twaleb, a Tanzanian, was languishing in remand for over a year and the prosecution had not yet...
