Dar es Salaam, March 21 -- DODOMA: THE Copyright Society of Tanzania (COSOTA) has handled 118 copyright-related disputes over the past four years under the leadership of President Samia Suluhu Hassans sixth-phase government.
Out of these 118 cases, 10 remained unresolved as the parties involved failed to reach an agreement and opted for court proceedings, which are still ongoing. Additionally, eight other cases are at various stages of resolution under COSOTAs supervision.
The Executive Director of COSOTA and Tanzanias Chief Copyright Administrator, Doreen Sinare, shared this information while presenting the organizations achievements over the past four years to journalists in Dodoma on March 21, 2025.
