DODOMA, Aug. 5 -- THE Cereals and Other Produce Regulatory Authority (COPRA) is today hosting a Maize Day event at the Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibition in Dodoma, bringing together farmers, buyers and processors to address challenges and explore opportunities in the maize value chain.

Speaking at the Nzuguni grounds, COPRAs Director of Operations and Quality Assurance, Mr Kamwesige Mtembei, said the event would offer a unique platform for stakeholders to discuss key issues affecting maize production and marketing.

“Despite maize being widely grown across Tanzania, weve lacked a dedicated forum to engage all players in a comprehensive dialogue,” he said.
