COAST REGION, Oct. 21 -- COAST Region is set to cement its position as the countrys industrial hub, with factories projected to double to 3,362 over the next 25 years. Its strategic location near major seaports, coupled with critical infrastructure projects, is set to make the region a hub for industrial growth in the country.
Key infrastructure developments are underpinning this expansion. The natural gas pipeline to Chalinze ensures a reliable energy supply, while the electric-driven Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) enhances connectivity between inland markets and seaports.
