KILIMANJARO, Aug. 5 -- LEADERS who will be elected in this years General Election have been urged to be patriotic and ensure that the countrys abundant resources benefit all Tanzanians.

The call was made over the weekend by the Assistant Chief Priest of Christ the King Parish in the Catholic Diocese of Moshi, Father Richard Asenga, during Holy Mass at the Christ the King Cathedral to mark the 18th Sunday of the Year C in the Roman Catholic Church Calendar.

“This is a General Election year, and the processes are already underway. I urge those who will be elected to various positions to avoid selfishness and ensure the countrys resources benefit all Tanzanians,” said Fr Asenga.
