DODOMA, Sept. 10 -- CCM parliamentary candidate for Dodoma Urban constituency, Mr Pascal Chinyele, has pledged to prioritise lasting solutions to challenges facing residents, including water shortages, unreliable electricity and poor roads in peripheral wards.
Launching his campaign in Dodoma, Mr Chinyele said if elected in the October General Election, he would ensure access to safe and clean water, particularly in areas long affected by scarcity.
He also promised to upgrade unpaved roads across the city to tarmac standard in line with Dodomas capital city status.
“We will make sure roads such as the Changombe–Mnadani stretch are improved to ease access,” he said.
