DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 9 -- Member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China and Foreign Minister of the Peoples Republic of China, Wang Yi, has arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for a two-day working visit from January 9 to 10, 2026.
At Julius Nyerere International Airport, Wang Yi was welcomed by Tanzanias Foreign Minister and Minister for East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo (MP), Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr. Ngwaru Maghembe, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Ambassador Dr. Samwel Shelukindo, along with other government officials.
