Dar es Salaam, April 2 -- DAR ES SALAAM: IN what appears to be a major boost for vulnerable families, Chemba District Council has received a substantial subsidy of 2.7bn/- from the Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF) between 2024 and 2025.

This funding aims to alleviate poverty and enhance the living standards of the districts most needy households. For nearly 25 years, TASAF has been dedicated to lifting poor households out of poverty.

TASAF Coordinator in Chemba District, Simon Butondo unveiled the figures here when providing an implementation report for various projects being implemented by the fund.
