GEITA, Sept. 18 -- THE Chama Cha Ukombozi wa Umma (CHAUMMA) has unveiled ambitious plans to tackle extreme poverty by boosting value chains in the livestock, agriculture and mining sectors.

CHAUMMAs presidential candidate, Mr Salum Mwalimu, made the announcement on Tuesday at a campaign rally held at Nyankumbu Market grounds in Geita town.

Mr Mwalimu stated that if given the mandate to lead the country, during the October 29th this year General Election, CHAUMMA will implement policies that create a conducive environment benefiting ordinary citizens, entrepreneurs, business- people and investors alike.
